Required Tools:
- iPhone or Android phone running latest firmware with Internet Access
- At least 18 years old
- Bank Account (For the initial deposit)
Step 1:
Go to the AppStore or the Google Play Store and find an app called “Square Cash”. (Download it here: cash.me/app/CWVXRSW)
Then proceed to follow the steps as listed in the app and find where it says “Request a Cash Card”.
This will bring you to a screen that will let you customize your new FREE Cash Card with your signature and a few clip art images, these will be etched onto your new card. It may take 1-2 Weeks to get your new card (although it only took me a few days to receive mine).
After you receive your new Cash App Cash Card proceed to load a few dollars (you can withdrawal this at anytime). You can use this as a debit card and it can be used anywhere!
Step 2:
After signing up for the cash card log on to the mobile app you and slide up when you see your card details and the balance until you see a small button labeled “Boost”. Now click this button, it will now display a few restaurant and national franchises that partner with Square and give the Cash Card users discounts. You should see places like 10% Off Chick-Fil-A, 10% Off Dominos, Panda Express, Wendys, Chipotle, and others. Keep scrolling until you see “$1 Off Any Purchase
At Coffee Shops”… This is what we will be using 😉. You can then add this “Boost” to purchases made at any Coffee Shop (as long as you spend at least $1.50 AND they mostly sell only coffee). A boost can be used once every 30 Minutes and changed to a different restaurant every 24 Hours.
One thing I should also note is that if the Coffee costs $2.38 (like it does here) you must have the FULL BALANCE to pay for the FULL $2.38 for it to work… The boost is applied after the swipe and your Cash App will notify you and adjust your balance accordingly.
Step 3: Now that you’ve gotten a Large Iced Coffee for $1.39 lets get your FREE Donut… This one doesn’t require as much work.
This one will require you to purchase something before hand (only once though). Or use an old receipt. So at the bottom of every receipt there should be a spot for you to fill out a survey for a FREE Classic donut. Simply complete this survey on your phone and it will give you a QR code to be scanned for the free donut… Also I should add most FREE Food given out by franchises require a LONG and LENGTHY survey in order to get what was promised. This one literally takes MAYBE 3 Minutes… NOW WE’RE READY TO GO! 😊
Step 4: Now with all this knowledge simply go to Dunkin order your Large Iced Coffee like normal and tell them you have a coupon for a FREE Classic Donut. Then have them scan the QR Code which will bring it back down to $2.38 then after using the balance on your Cash Card it will bring the total amount spent to $1.38… Now go try it out!
